cartonbox今年初のシングル『螢』を昨日2/26（金）リリースしました。
発売が昨日だったのを忘れて、土曜日の今日これを書いてます。自分でも驚いています。

ジャケットはゴッホのアルルの桟橋です。
僕は何年か前にこの桟橋を見に行きました。
コロッセオの前のカフェで自転車を借りてこの桟橋を目指しました。
しかし、行けども行けども桟橋は現れず！
しまいにはアルルという文字に斜線が引かれた看板を発見（つまりここからはアルルではないということだと思う）。
真夏の南仏の照りつける太陽の中１時間以上走ってやっとたどり着きました。
ゴッホが弟のテオに手紙で言っていたように「この街の光はまるで日本のそれのようだ」と思う余裕はなく喉はカラカラでしたが今では良い思い出です。
